Video: Using Technology for Better Understanding of Science

WW Georgia Teaching Fellow Yancey Miller was the recipient of a 2015 WWTF microgrant, supported by the Goizueta Foundation, which enabled her to purchase special sensor probes that she can connect to iPads (also purchased through the grant), allowing students to track data points like temperature in real time. “It gives them a whole other experience of how they can interpret the data and put all these building blocks together,” she says in the video above. Ms. Miller was a 2015 WW Teaching Fellow at Kennesaw State University and is now teaching chemistry and physics at Peachtree Ridge High School.
