Video: WW HistoryQuest Fellows Present Game at Conference

In April, two WW HistoryQuest Fellows presented the game they developed at the Northeast Regional Conference for the Social Studies in Boston. Scott and Kelli Kallens designed a board game to help teach World War II during their 2016–2017 HistoryQuest Fellowship. The game allows students to act as countries during the onset of the war, building armies, bartering resources, and creating allies. At the conference, the Kallens presented the importance and advantages of using game-based learning in the classroom and allowed conference goers to play the game. See more from the presentation in the video above.
