Grauer Challenge Match
UPDATE: The Fred and Linda Grauer $100,000 Challenge Match has been successfully met! Thank you to all of the Fellows and friends who made new or increased gifts this fiscal year. The Foundation's development office was overwhelmed by the response to the challenge and by the generosity of our Fellows and friends.
Thank you to the Grauers and to everyone who stretched their giving this year to help us meet the challenge and strengthen the Woodrow Wilson Foundation.
About the Challenge Match Grant
Fred Grauer, Chair-elect of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and a 1969 Woodrow Wilson Fellow, and his wife, Linda, offered a dollar for dollar challenge match of all new and increased gifts this year, up to a total of $100,000. If you did not give to the Foundation last year, the full amount of your gift this year will be matched; and if you gave last year, any increase over that gift will be matched.
Arthur Levine recently said, “The Grauers’ challenge match is a testament to their incredible generosity and to their commitment to the Foundation and its mission. I am tremendously grateful to them for this extraordinary opportunity to strengthen the Foundation’s existing fellowships and build our capacity to respond to emerging educational needs.”
The goal is to reach $100,000 in new and increased gifts by June 30, 2009.
We hope the Grauers’ generosity encourages you to make the Foundation a priority for your philanthropy this year.
