Video: Teacher preparation at Piedmont College

WW Georgia Teaching Fellow Daron Martin is now in his first year of¬†leading his own classroom at the Center for Design and Technology at Lanier High School in Buford, GA. After completing his Fellowship at Piedmont College, Mr. Martin felt more than prepared to take over his own freshman chemistry class. He says that the WW Teaching Fellowship program at Piedmont “has given me the opportunity to not only develop my skills, but to develop from the wisdom of others.” Mr. Martin talks more about what makes the WW Teaching Fellowship program distinctive¬†and effective in the video above.

Changing the name of the Foundation

The Board of Trustees of the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation has voted unanimously to rename the organization and to remove Woodrow Wilson from its name; a new name will be announced by early fall.
