Leading up to #GivingTuesday on December 1, WW Perspectives is featuring just some of the ways the foundation has changed the lives of its Fellows.

Tamara Markey WW TF ’14, shown in the video below, remembers the names of the teachers who inspired her to chase her dreams. Now, as an engineering teacher in Indiana, she tries to be that teacher for her students:

I truly believe that [teaching] is my calling…if there is just one student that didn’t think they had a possibility and if I just reach that one student—then I’ve done what I was supposed to do. It’s a great way for me to fulfil a dream that I would not have been able to do if it weren’t for the Fellowship.
