Pickering Fellowship gets shout out at press briefing

Video of a daily press briefing—and a shout-out to the Pickering Fellowship program in its first minute—is just in from Oriana Luquetta, a 2014 Pickering Graduate Fellow who is currently an intern in the Department of State Bureau of Public Affairs, Office of Press Relations.  Oriana is pursuing her master’s in public policy and specializing in international policy analysis at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs.  Her boss, State Department Spokesperson John Kirby, arranged for a group of Pickering Fellows interning at the Department of State this summer to sit in on a daily briefing.  The Department of State and Woodrow Wilson are proud of all Pickering Fellows and wishes this summer’s interns, both domestic and overseas, a great learning experience.
