Course Hero-Woodrow Wilson Fellows Travel to Silicon Valley
The 2018 Course Hero-Woodrow Wilson Excellence in Teaching Fellows, announced in July, traveled to Silicon Valley for the Course Hero Education Summit. In the course of the day, Fellows had the opportunity to meet with Course Hero founder and CEO Andrew Grauer, exchange ideas about challenges and triumphs in undergraduate teaching, hear panel discussions on the future of teaching in higher education, and hear such noted national and international speakers as Arthur Levine, Robert Reich, and Sir Ken Robinson.
Created by Course Hero and administered by the Woodrow Wilson Foundation, the fellowship program supports rising postsecondary educators who demonstrate excellence as educators in and beyond the classroom and are poised to shape their fields. The Course Hero–WW Fellowship is conceived as a “genius grant” that emphasizes outstanding undergraduate teaching practice.
This year’s award will support both tenure- and non-tenure-track professors. Find more information here.
